Friday 13th could have been unlucky for some but not for our school. Fellside Hall was buzzing with pupils as they gathered to raise money for this worthwhile charity event. Pupils ran stalls ranging from a 'tin can alley' to 'pin the tail on the donkey' and 'guess the name of the teddy'. The fantastic sum of £1088.69 was raised from the stalls which also included money from donations towards a non-school uniform day. It is often easy to get caught up in the fun of the fundraising efforts, so Mrs Cave and Mr Freeman-Myers also delivered assemblies to highlight the importance of the day which reminded us all who our money would support and the huge impact this would have. A great day and a huge thank you to all that took part.
