It was a joy to host our Summer Concert last night and it really was a celebration of the incredible musical talent, skill and enthusiasm across the school. It is always inspiring to see so many of our pupils getting up on stage and performing to such a high standard. It was so clear to see how much the pupils enjoy themselves on stage, and to see the spirit and encouragement of one another was heartwarming.
It was a packed programme including vocal solos, orchestra, solo musicians, HMS Singers, Show Choir, Advanced Singing Group, Band Camp and our string ensemble. Every single performance was outstanding and a true celebration of music, the arts and creativity which shines through at HMS.
Special thanks to Miss Tindall who has brought so much energy and vision to the music experience this year. We have had so many opportunities and performances and it’s great to see the vibrancy of music across the school. Thank you to all of the staff involved – Mrs Rowell, Mr Pride, Mr Watson, Mrs Roberts and our other peri teachers, and, of course, our technician team who make the events a huge success.
Well done everyone – a very proud night!
