After an exciting journey, the group arrived safely in a gloriously sunny and very warm France and immediately set off on their first excursion. They visited the Normandy beaches to experience firsthand the location in which so many gave their lives. The children approached this with maturity and respect, and all of the staff were very impressed with their engagement. Next, they made their way to check-in at the Chateau where they enjoyed a delicious evening meal before settling down into their home for the week!
On Tuesday, the group visited the historic Mont Saint Michel – everyone was in awe of the architecture and enjoyed exploring the UNESCO heritage site. Today’s plan includes a visit to Saint Hiliar market, diving in the l’aquabulle and exploring the hypermarket! Another busy day in the sunshine!
