U11 Boys Football

The Y6 boys played their county cup quarter final against Ponteland on Monday night. The boys went into the game full of confidence after some positive results against this opposition in separate tournaments. HMS started really brightly, creating a couple of great chances but Ponteland’s goalkeeper made some excellent saves. Ponteland were able to grab a couple of goals after some scrappiness in the box before scoring again late in the game to win 3-0. The scoreline was harsh on our lads who probably deserved more from the game, but should hold their heads high after what has been a successful season so far. Player of the match was Freddie S who was outstanding throughout the game, controlling the midfield with calmness and composure on the ball.

Respect. Engage. Aspire.
