More sunshine, more slopes, more lifts!
The group had another great day on the slopes yesterday with a beautiful blue sky morning – an absolute treat! All of the groups made great progress again yesterday, and the instructors continued to share their praise of the positive attitude and engagement.
Mr Johnson’s group focused on parallel turns and enjoyed some paired racing. Mrs Barnett’s and Mr Gaines’ groups are skiing together and explored new slopes and used the bucket and chair lifts (lots of laughs with one or two fallers at the top!). Mr Whitfield’s group went up to the high point of Pont De La Masse yesterday and reported that it was windy and cold on top, but they had a superb descent on a long blue slope – idyllic!
Mrs Barnett is famous on the slopes and seemed to get a hug from every ski instructor that passed by – instructors Alice and Alexandria were very confused as to how she knew more instructors than they did! She had to explain that she has brought school groups to Les Menuires for the last fifteen years!
It was another superb day all round! The group were looking forward to some potential snow showers overnight and fresh snow in the morning.
