It was an exciting day with a birthday celebration in the group – Finn S was lucky enough to experience a birthday on the slopes – what a memory for him! India and Mia had been working hard behind the scenes to make flags and buy a birthday cookie – great fun all round!
Yesterday was another day of sun and perfect snow – great conditions for another superb day of skiing! All three groups were doing very exciting things with Mrs Barnett’s and Mr Gaines’ group visiting the terrain park. In the park, the group were riding over a mini seesaw – instructor Alice reminded everyone to lean forward – a key tip! Mr Whitfield’s group went jumping yesterday and he got some great photographs of airborne skiers. They skied a steep red off the Pointe de la Masse and also did some slalom in the Pixel Park – what a day! Mr Johnson’s group have now all achieved parallel skiing and went on a short section of a red piste. Instructor Ellena chased a naughty snowboarder into a restaurant to give him an S3 – Mr Johnson did enjoy this!
Last night’s apres ski was Taskmaster – Ski Trip Edition! Lots of fun was had watching the groups make the longest line – shoes, crocs, phones, necklaces were used – very creative! The longest line almost made the third floor! Today is the penultimate day – it is amazing how quickly the week has flown by. We look forward to enjoying another day in this unique Alpine environment. Everyone is loving their experience!
