After an early start and a successful outward trip, the group arrived at El Prat in the glorious Spanish sunshine. The first stop was a visit to Tarragona (Roman City) and a stop at the famous gothic cathedral. Pupils explored the building as well as having a walk through the historical Old Town where they had the chance to use their Spanish skills when buying souvenirs and ice-creams. The group enjoyed a fascinating walking tour with views of the Roman Circus, amphitheatre and fort.
After a busy afternoon, the group headed for their hotel where they were checked in. A delicious three course meal was served and the group headed down to the beach for games and an evening swim! How lucky are they…
