After an early start and a good breakfast, we made our way to Watford Junction for an exciting day at the Harry Potter Studios. The whole experience was truly magical from start to finish. From walking into the Great Hall and along Diagon Alley, stepping into 4 Privet Drive and visiting Dumbledore’s Office, it was fascinating to see how the novels were brought to the screen. The gift shops were also very popular – I think there are lots of souvenirs en route home!
After making our way back into London, we had a great dinner at Las Iguanas at The Royal Festival Hall before walking to The Cambridge Theatre for our second show of the week. Matilda was an outstanding show and a real inspiration. Everyone loved seeing the much-loved story being brought to life and hearing the now famous songs live on the stage. Another 5 star review from us!
It was a late night back to the hotel – everyone was definitely ready for some sleep! The group have been a joy to spend the week with and have been fantastic ambassadors for our school. Two days to go with lots more to see and do!
