I was very grateful to be invited to attend Acomb First School’s grand opening of their amazing new ‘Wellbeing Hub’ this week. Sadly, I was away in London, but Mr Freeman-Myers and Ms Watkinson were able to attend on my behalf. Miss Williamson also invited some of our current Year 5 pupils to attend and it was a really special event for Daisy, Hugo, Oliver and Isaac. It was super exciting for them to meet the special celebrity guest too – ex footballer, Shola Ameobi.
Huge thanks to everyone at Acomb. Good luck with your wonderful new learning space – we can’t wait to hear more about it.
