Over the last few months, Northumberland Parent Carer Forum (NPCF) has been working closely with Choice Wellbeing and a range of Northumberland’s SEND support services to create something truly special for families across the county.
🌈 Next week, we will be launching Northumberland’s SEND Rainbow Guide!
This brand-new guide is designed as a one-stop resource to help parent carers navigate SEND support, services, and organisations across Northumberland. Whether you’re new to the SEND journey or looking to reconnect with local support, the guide brings everything together in one easy place.
Everyone (parent carers, professionals, anyone who would like to learn more about services available) is warmly invited to join us for the launch event:

It’s a relaxed drop-in session where you can grab a cuppa, collect a free copy of the Rainbow Guide, and chat with some of the brilliant services involved in bringing this resource to life.

We’re delighted to be teaming up with Shelley from Complex Connections to bring you a calming, trauma-informed small-group workshop.
A gentle space to understand what’s happening in your nervous system when you’re overwhelmed — and learn simple, supportive strategies for day-to-day life.
