Lots of our Year 5 pupils were very excited to attend a performance of Matilda The Musical at Sunderland’s Empire Theatre before half term. I have heard a few very positive reviews already, but I’ll look forward to reading/hearing more.
The staff who attended said the children loved the show and were mesmerised by the magic of the story and stage production. It really is a special show and I am delighted that so many of our Year 5 children had the chance to experience it.
