A group of Year 6 pupils had a great time during our ‘Make Future Engineers’ programme with Newcastle University when they visited Osbit at The Port of Blyth. All of the pupils represented the school superbly, with particular standouts being a brilliantly taken bicycle kick by Dylan F, and an extraordinary long-range goal from Freddie S. At HMS, we’ll be celebrating the Great British Classic – Fish and Chips. It’s National Fish and Chips Day on 6th June and pupils will be able to enjoy a traditional Friday treat! This week saw over 70 students perform in the sell-out KS2 Music Showcase, either as a soloist or as part of a group. The evening was a celebration of those students who have instrumental or vocal lessons in school as well as some of our extra-curricular groups.
