Save the date for our Spring Concert on 9th April, which will feature many of our HMS students in the Show Choir. The concert will also feature the fantastic new QEHS Soul Band as well as favourites such as the Jazz Band, Wind Band, QEHS Choir, String Ensemble and much more!
Last week, Carrie (Y8) asked me if she could paint some artwork in our new ‘Sensory Space’. I thought it was a fantastic idea and couldn’t wait to see her work. Year 7 put Friar Lawrence (Romeo & Juliet) on trial, charged with inciting violence in the city of Verona. We followed court procedures and protocols – albeit simplified – and the pupils played their roles beautifully. We are out and about at the centre taking part in our last morning of activities. A final morning of exciting activities to round off our wonderful time here at Ford Castle. This week we held our Dragon’s Den event where we welcomed parent volunteers to judge our 10 teams voted for by their peers in PSHE classes.
