Summer Fair-well!

Our in-school Summer Fair-well is underway! Setting up early doors! The Y5 Fair is underway! Chocolate hamper! Chocolate treats could be coming your way! Games Evening!

A huge thank you to the PTA and our staff for putting on a fantastic ‘Games Evening’ last week. Here’s the final water balloon game for Year 5 who loved chasing Mr Barry around the school field! It was lovely to hear lots of fun and laughter. 

Shakespeare Workshop!

Year 6 form classes took part in drama workshops last week, based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The workshops were run by West End In Schools and the students performed freeze frames from the play as well as learned how to project their voices to an audience.  Many thanks to the PTA for supporting this. Muddy 3km Charity Summer Challenge for Families!

Tynedale Hospice at Home have secured 50 places for the muddiest, 3km family challenge in the North East, “Clarty Bairns”! Join them on Sunday 1 August between 3pm – 4pm. Ticket prices are usually £16 per adult and £9 per child (child up to 17 years), but the Hospice have secured some charity places at a reduced rate of only

Inaugural Board Game Reward Afternoon!

Mr Stephenson and Miss Downes were delighted to host the inaugural Board Game Reward afternoon for KS2 students. It was a fantastic afternoon where students enjoyed games ranging from Monopoly to Warhammer having spent their hard-earned P points!
