15 pupils represented Hexham Middle School in the First Lego League Tournament against other schools from across the North East. Together, they built and programmed two Lego robots to travel through a maze and solve various puzzles. U14 Girls’ Rugby

The U14 girls played in a rugby tournament in very muddy conditions at Dame Allan’s on Monday. Initially a 7s tournament, we ended up playing 9 a side as all teams brought more than enough players, which was great to see.The girls all played very well and won 8-3 against Ponteland and 5-3 against Dame Allan’s. KS2 Girls’ Football

On a very wet and cold night, girls’ football returned to Hexham once again. The Hexham Year 6 girls (accompanied by Meike O and Elise C from Year 5) made their way up to the 3G pitch. British Science Week
