Y8 Girls Indoor Cricket

The Year 8 girls took part in the local indoor cricket festival on Thursday, which was celebrating 50 days until the Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup. The girls played really well and showed significant improvement from the recent indoor event, managing to win 3 out of their 5 games. They can now look forward to competing in the outdoor competitions

Water Safety

As part of our ‘Stay Safe and Well Curriculum’, we were very grateful to Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service for once again delivering water safety workshops to our Year 5 and 7 pupils this week. High Borrans Day 1 & 2

A very excited group of Year 8 pupils departed from HMS on Monday morning for a week of adventures in the Lake District. The sun was shining as the group made their way via Windermere to check-in at High Borrans. Once settled in, the group were straight outside for a long hill walk, followed by a delicious dinner and time

HMS PTFA UV DISCOS

Parent/Carer Workshop – Demand Avoidant Behaviour

We have organised a parent/carer workshop to be delivered by professionals from the HINT team focused on sharing strategies for supporting children who show demand avoidant behaviours. The workshop will take place on Monday 18th May 4pm at Hexham Middle School. The session will focus on understanding demand avoidance and strategies to support parents/carers and children at home.  If your child

St George’s Day Lunch

Thank you very much to Mrs Satow and her team for preparing our St George’s Day Picnic Lunch on Thursday last week. Our picnic themed lunches are always a hit! Pupils enjoyed a range of sandwiches, sausage/cheese rolls, cherry tomatoes and cucumber and a range of homemade cakes incl. a classic Victoria sponge. A lovely treat!  Respect. Engage. Aspire.
