Hello Yellow – World Mental Health Day
On Friday 8 October, pupils and staff are invited to wear yellow to raise awareness of World Mental Health Day. In support of the charity Young Minds, children can choose to wear something yellow (yellow t-shirt, jumper, accessories etc). If children would prefer, they can wear their school uniform. Skiing!
First sporting competition of the year for Hexham Middle School! Eight pupils from HMS competed at the ESSKIA Dry Ski slope regional round. The pupils were a mixture of regular club competitors who ski at Silksworth, Sunderland, and some keen skiers who helped HMS have full teams. HMS achieve the Primary Science Quality Mark!
