Over 150 HMS pupils visited Sunderland Empire to see a fantastic production of ‘War Horse’ yesterday. It was a powerful and moving show and everyone had a great afternoon. Year 7 study ‘War Horse’ as one of the texts in English lessons and this was a wonderful opportunity to enrich their learning. The pupils engaged well and enjoyed this experience!
This week, pupils travelled to Ovingham for the first round of the English Schools Cross Country. This is an individual event with the top 16 qualifying for the next round in January at Temple Park.
