A huge thank you to Philip Kavvadias, author, illustrator and engineer, for visiting HMS to present his brilliant series, Mission Microraptor, to Year 5. Mission Microraptor combines adventure, humour, and science with environmental themes. Philip Kavvadias used his illustrations to encourage pupils to think about characterisation and settings. Well done to Year 5 for participating so enthusiastically and asking lots of questions!
