On Thursday afternoon, ten Year 6 students went to compete in the regional dodgeball festival. Our two teams: HMS City captained by Rowan Shreeve, and HMS United captained by Tom Hymers, performed brilliantly. In a festival where they play six mini matches, the pupils were all brilliant with dart-like accuracy from Michael Alderson Brown and Cade John Tait, really impressing all of the staff and sports leaders. Daniel Wills won a reaction game and Amelie Osbourne and Heidi Smith showed fantastic enthusiasm and effort throughout. However it was Lucas Newbery whose engagement was not only brilliant but his sportsmanship. A massive thank you to Ms Richardson-Clark for all of her preparation and support as well as our Base leaders Jake and Morgan for their hardwork and team management.
