On Friday 15 March 2019 there will be activities within school to raise money for Comic Relief.
- We will be having a non-school uniform day on Friday, inviting pupils to wear either some items that are red or funny clothes. There will be a voluntary donation of £1.00. Please note that pupils should dress appropriately for school, taking weather conditions into account and must appreciate that lessons will be timetabled as usual. They will need all of their usual school equipment and full PE kit if they are timetabled to have PE on Friday.
- We will be holding a House Joke Competition where we will select a winning joke from each House in each year group where the winners will receive a prize. Entries for the joke competition must be handed to Mr Barry on a sheet of paper by 3.30pm on Thursday 14 March 2019.
- In addition to this, if any pupil would like to bring in baked goods (such as cakes, biscuits or cookies), they will have the chance to sell these at lunchtime in Fellside Hall. We would like to see elaborate and creative decorations on the cakes with a prize going to the winner in each House. Any pupil wishing to sell cakes should bring their products to Fellside Hall by 8.50am on Friday 15 March 2019.
Due to sales of food and other activities in school on Friday, which will cost a small fee, we ask that pupils bring in with them a small amount of money for the activities on the day if they would like to participate.
However, we stress that this money is their responsibility and should be looked after at all times.
