Friday was a fantastic day of cricket at Tynedale with lots of great play.
Year 8 Girls
A team of girls with very little cricket experience grew in confidence each game and took some great wickets and scored some impressive runs. There were stand out performances by Alice W and Lucy S who formed a great batting partnership
Year 7 Girls
A fantastic tournament by the girls who played some great cricket. Amy S bowled magnificently and Isabel G made a great batting partnership with Martha C to fire the girls to a third place finish.
Year 8 Boys
The boys made a great start to the tournament with some very high scoring games. Big hitting from Alfie and Alex led the boys to a third place finish.
Year 7 Boys
The Year 7 boys bounced back from an early setback to play some magnificent cricket. Huge wins led by Max G and Josh W’s batting along with Isaac P and Oliver D producing incredible bowling to lead the Year 7s to tournament victory! The boys will feature in next weeks Courant!
