This term, Year 7 and 8 are given the opportunity to make and present one of the dishes they have made this year in Food Technology. Year 8 can choose from spaghetti bolognese, Swiss roll, upside down cake, stir fry, carrot cake, toad in the hole or sausage rolls. Year 7 can choose from shortcrust pastry triangles, scones, minestrone soup, fish fingers or pizza. They can adapt the recipe in any way they want.
Pupils have one hour to make and present the dish of their choice. They must work independently and are assessed on their practical skills, independence and presentation techniques. See the photos for some of the fantastic results!
