On Friday afternoon the Year 7 boys were in action in the last 16 of the National finals for the Champions Cup. They were representing the North East against Yorkshire in what was a magnificent game!
Incredibly brave and tenacious defence mixed with powerful running and determination saw HMS put in an outstanding performance. The boys played with their hearts on their sleeves and were a credit to the school, the North East and themselves. Despite a narrow defeat, the boys have achieved so much this year getting to the top 16 of teams in England and Wales. They get to go again in the Sky Try competition in a few weeks with all eyes on the National Final in Warrington.
