The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair has moved online for 2020. ‘Big Bang Digital 2020 – science, engineering & Covid-19’ will be on Tuesday 14 July 2020, a free online event for young people aged 11+.
Big Bang Digital celebrates the amazing work of scientists and engineers in a pandemic, with online sessions to give pupils a front row view into the contribution of scientists, healthcare professionals, engineers, technicians, and students in responding to Covid-19.
Speakers joining the event include those working to develop a vaccine, the teams involved in building the Nightingale hospitals, those keeping transport networks going and the companies innovating to respond to the UK ventilator challenge.
The day also features live Q&A sessions and activities, with lots of ways to get involved and prizes to be won!
