This week we have had the pleasure of inviting ‘He Knows, She Knows’ into school as part of a ‘Respect Day’. Respect is one of our school core values. The duo, who were former X-Factor contestants, helped pupils across all year groups in the school to explore a variety of personal development topics including mental wellbeing, body image, relationships and online activity.
‘He Knows, She knows’ performed some cover songs and one that they wrote themselves which included lyrics related the topics explored in the talk. Key messages were relayed to all pupils about the importance to talk to a trusted person if they have any worries in their lives.
Next term, we are planning an ‘Engage Day’ focusing on careers and enterprise education.
