The group had an amazing day exploring Barcelona yesterday. The main part of the day was a visit to Sagrada Familia which was an awe-inspiring experience for everyone. Pupils enjoyed a guided tour with an interactive workshop. The pupils were able to learn more about Gaudi’s legacy and what the building means to people around the world. The group also visited Montjuic (the main site of the 1992 Olympic Games) and the historic Poble Espanyol where they got to see some original artwork by Picasso. The group had the chance to explore the Museu Nacional d’art de Catalunya looking at both modern and medieval art. Barcelona is a fascinating city and the children have been so lucky to explore so much of it during their visit.
