On Monday, our Year 7 pupils enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of athletics down at the Wentworth in the team event. Our pupils competed very well and conducted themselves brilliantly against 11 other teams from the Northumberland and Newcastle areas. Well done to all athletes, but a particular mention to Gaby R (100m) and Cameron S (javelin) who won their events, as well as Nicholas Y (70m hurdles) and Charlie M (800m) who came 2nd and 3rd respectively.
