A very excited group of Year 8 pupils departed from HMS on Monday morning for a week of adventures in the Lake District. The sun was shining as the group made their way via Windermere to check-in at High Borrans. Once settled in, the group were straight outside for a long hill walk, followed by a delicious dinner and time to get out into the Lake District sunshine!
Day two was action packed with two groups enjoying ghyll scrambling and two groups taking to Lake Windermere for a canoeing adventure! As you can see, the group have been very lucky with the weather and have enjoyed taking in the breathtaking surroundings. All of the group leaders have been very impressed with the positivity, teamwork and excellent engagement of every single pupil.
It’s always a trip where pupils push themselves to try new challenges and experiences – memories for life for sure! We will continue to post updates during the week as the fun continues.
