Well, this has definitely not been the first week of term we had planned for! Once again, our whole school community have shown their spirit, adaptability and resilience. I have written a few messages giving thanks since March last year and each time it is sent with genuine appreciation for your ongoing support of school life. I feel thankful again
Our live lesson programme has now started for KS2 (after a hugely successful start with KS3 earlier in the week). Our website is updated with lots of support information including a helpful video from Ms Carruthers on how to access a live lesson on ‘Google Meet’. Following Mr Atkins’ earlier letter detailing the return to school in January, we have now been informed by Northumberland County Council that Monday 4 January 2021 will be an additional teaching training day for schools, which will be confirmed by the Department for Education as applying to all schools nationally. So students will return to their learning from Tuesday 5 January

We are proud to present our first (and hopefully last) Virtual Carol Service. Our annual service is usually held in the wonderful setting of Hexham Abbey but this year we have recorded in our own Fellside Hall.
