During their creative activities at school before half term, Miss Lawton introduced HMS pupils to screen-printing. In the first session, pupils screen-printed rainbows and created a display with their artwork. Heidi S was able to make a start on Part D of her Arts Award project. Having learnt new screen-printing skills, Heidi shared printing techniques with other pupils. Thanks to

We have collated all the entries and have created a gallery for you, so you can have a look at all the amazing bakes! Winners will be announced shortly! Well done!

For anyone who is thinking of taking up running but needs a little bit of encouragement, I would definitely recommend this. A great use
Working from home is strange for me, I am not used to sitting for so long each day at the laptop. I have enjoyed marking your work and sending you messages but I miss seeing and speaking to you all. I must admit one advantage of being at home is that I am spending much more time with my sons
Due to the lockdown, I have been ‘seeing’ even more of my family than I normally would (thanks Houseparty!) and we have been setting weekly challenges, ranging from baking to portrait painting. Last week’s challenge was to create a miniature garden. Mrs Alderson https://www.hexhammiddleschool.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/lockdown_blog_mrs_alderson_vid.mp4
