We have been so impressed by the creativity on display and the wreaths represent the classes so superbly! Year 8 had the opportunity to visit the Safety Works Centre in Newcastle this week as part of their PSHE curriculum. We always love visiting the centre as the sessions are so interactive and informative. Everyone engaged very well with the important sessions about staying safe in the community. A group of HMS singers are visiting local care homes and hospital wards today as part of our ‘HMS Carols in the Community’ sessions. It is always a pleasure to visit local residents and patients to share festive joy through music. It was incredibly emotional yet uplifting to see the patients singing along this morning and the choir sounded wonderful

Year 7 had a great day of activities on Friday for their Christmas treat. It was an action-packed morning of activities in school before an early lunch and a visit to the Forum Cinema to watch the festive classic, Elf.
