Hexham was recently voted the ‘happiest place in the UK’ in a survey which asked people how happy they are where they live, based on 12 happiness factors, across 194 areas in Great Britain.
CBBC Newsround interviewed pupils from Hexham, including some from Hexham Middle School, to see why they think Hexham came first!
