HMS athletes – Charlie, Ossie and Finn – travelled to compete in the finals of the ESAA Cross Country Cup this weekend. The finals were held at the Grammar School at Leeds and this provides a challenging, twisty and fast-paced course.
The Junior Boys competed over 2440m. Charlie M was our first runner home in 43rd overall. Ossie D backed him up with an excellent 100th with Finn C finishing 112th. These were all excellent results for athletes making their debuts in racing at a national level. The boys have learnt a lot of valuable lessons, ready for next year. Mr Gaines is super proud of the effort they have put in this season.
