Tuesday is World Mental Health Day and it’s all about raising awareness and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health. It’s also a chance to talk about mental health, how we need to look after it and how important it is to get help if you’re struggling. We welcomed Newcastle University again this morning to work with our Year 7 girls in a workshop focused on STEM. The session focused on careers in STEM and the power of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in opening up opportunities. It was great to see such positive engagement!

This week, Year 5 joined the live launch of the BBC 500 Words short story competition. Year 5 listened to this year’s judges including Frank Cottrell-Boyce, Francesca Simon and Charlie Higson who shared tips and answered questions on the writing process. Our very own Miss Richardson is part of the competition judging team this year. The deadline for entries is
