Warhammer Club

Warhammer Club is thriving.  This week, there was a real buzz in FA2 -a special thank you must go to Mr Nichol who leads this club and to Mr Forster for helping out! We have great staff at HMS who support our extracurricular offer so brilliantly. It was fantastic to see so many pupils really engaged with this opportunity.

Library Champions

Application forms are now available to join our Library Champions Team!  Forms can be collected from the library desk and should be returned by 23rd October.  We can’t wait to see our next champions in the library!

Cross Country Success!

It has been great to hear the buzz of learning in our library space.  Ms Hayler

Y6 are reading ‘Safiyyah’s War’ during Book Talk in form time this term. This luminously-written book is based on the inspiring, and little-known, resistance work run by the Grand Mosque of Paris during

World Mental Health Day

On Tuesday afternoon, we replaced our usual staff meeting with a ‘Tea and Talk’ session (as promoted by the Mental Health Foundation). Staff were encouraged to come along with a brew, enjoy a cake and to chat to colleagues with no set agenda. It was a lovely reminder that we should all take time out of very busy schedules to

Community Food Bank Collection

This year, we would like to gather donations for West Northumberland Food Bank. We know that many people in the UK are struggling financially as a result of the cost of living crisis and rising food prices. Anything you can donate to the collection would be appreciated hugely.  Items can be brought into school from Monday 16th October until Friday 20th October. West Northumberland Food Bank are
