British Science Week

Yesterday, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 received a lecture from Colin Addy – a STEM ambassador. Red Nose Day Fundraising

HMS will be raising funds for this year’s Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March.  The team have planned a great range of fun activities for the day and all pupils can get involved, have a laugh and raise funds to support the charities. World Book Day

Theatre Visit

A group of Year 6 pupils enjoyed a visit to Sunderland Empire yesterday for a performance of the West End show, Aladdin. The show was an amazing production and we were all blown away by the talented singers, dancers, actors and musicians. I think the Genie was a particular favourite…Going to live theatre is such an inspiring and uplifting experience

Mask Making for Romeo and Juliette

Some photos of the beautiful masks made by Year 7 as part of their study of Romeo & Juliette The pupils studied the gender expectations of men and women in Elizabethan times and then made a mask that represented a gender.
