A group of Year 6 pupils enjoyed a visit to Sunderland Empire yesterday for a performance of the West End show, Aladdin. The show was an amazing production and we were all blown away by the talented singers, dancers, actors and musicians. I think the Genie was a particular favourite…Going to live theatre is such an inspiring and uplifting experience
Some photos of the beautiful masks made by Year 7 as part of their study of Romeo & Juliette The pupils studied the gender expectations of men and women in Elizabethan times and then made a mask that represented a gender. Ford Castle Day 2 Our Year 5 group are having an absolutely fantastic adventure at Ford Castle. It was an action-packed day yesterday making memories and enjoying a wide range of activities at the centre. Ford Castle Update The group had a fantastic first day at Ford Castle yesterday. The weather was beautiful and the group enjoyed getting stuck into so many great experiences: creating their own fire; scaling the vertical challenge; developing communication skills in the sensory task and having some amazing night-time fun including a very exciting silent disco!
