In January, we will be offering a new extra-curricular yoga class for Key Stage 2 pupils on Tuesdays after school (3.40pm start). The yoga class will be run by Emily Sheriff, a trained Hatha Yoga Teacher based in Hexham. She teaches a range of different styles of yoga within Hatha such as Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga and Gentle Hatha Yoga.
Today, the pupils in Years 5-8 have been making Christingles and learning about what the parts of a Christingle represent. They then attended assemblies led by Mr Freeman-Myers to reflect on this special time of year.

Year 5 have recently started a project on colour in art. They have been looking at harmonising and complimentary colours. They have been designing robots and using their new knowledge about colour!
Last week the Year 8 boys, Year 8 girls and for the first ever time the Year 7 girls have been in rugby action. On Thursday the Year 7 boys were in Champions Cup action in a competition against some of the top teams in the area! They won their first three games brilliantly, scoring a huge number of tries.
