Our Year 7 pupils have been out and about this week as part of their microclimate project. In geography lessons, pupils have been out in the school grounds collecting data using digital anemometers to measure wind speed and temperature. It was great to welcome Newcastle University back to HMS yesterday. Year 7 enjoyed workshops focused on neuroscience and the brain. Pupils were learning about the different brain lobes and their functions.
