Students at HMS have been participating in optional guitar taster sessions with Mr Pride to see if they would like to take up lessons on the guitar. They learned to play the different guitar strings and also learned to play some short riffs! Guitar lessons, as well as many other instrumental/singing lessons, are available at HMS. Well done to our Year 8 rugby team who competed in the County Sevens competition at Percy Park yesterday. Against some tough opposition, our boys played some outstanding rugby. They scored a total of 16 tries across four games, beating Longridge Towers and being narrowly defeated by Dame Allen’s, Corbridge and Ponteland. The boys have improved so much this season
